Description

Fernie is famous for it’s winters, but it’s even better in summer with all the outdoor activities. One such activities is the Wapiti Music Festival, an indie music festival in a park by a river at the foot of a mountain. An amazingly beautiful setting for some amazing indie music.

Wapiti scouts for the best Indie music in Canada and brings it to Fernie every August. They have a saying, “catch the next Arcade Fire here!”, and this rings through year after year. Many artists that are about to really break out have played at this festival. Such as the likes of “The Dead South”, “Shred Kelly” and many more!

If you are looking for a friendly, fun, musical, delicious, thirst-quenching, and sustainable event, then Wapiti is your answer!
