Started as a passion project by father and son duo, John and Lando Taves, Powntown Shakedown is more than just another music festival. They had a simple vision: Live music, community, inclusiveness and togetherness. What became of it is just that and more! With a musically diverse selection of artists and a common love of music, the atmosphere of the festival is just indescribable.

With a full-blown volunteer community, this festival continued on for a 2nd year running in 2022 with 28 acts over 4 days. In support of the Powell River community, the first day of the festival is by donation at the door and 100% of donations will be collected by the Powell River Hospice Society.

You can purchase your tickets directly at the Powtown Shakedown tickets page or at the door. The available tickets are as follows:

Day Passes
- Kids (0-11 years old) - FREE
- Youth (12-17 years old) - $25
- Adult (18+) - $50
Weekend Passes
- Kids (0-11 years old) - FREE
- Youth (12-17 years old) - $75
- Adult (18+) - $125

How do I get there?

Powtown supplies a shuttle to and from Town Centre Mall that will be running consistently throughout the festival and this is the recommended way to get there. There are limited parking spaces available and road parking is not permitted.
