The Ness Creek Music Festival is a festival held on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Metis, just outside of Big River in Saskatchewan, Canada. An evolution of “The Ecological Fair”, a smaller event held at the current site featuring ecological workshops and displays as well as local musicians on a small evening stage.
Today, Ness Creek Music Festival, on it’s 30-year running, is a 4-day event, featuring over 100 artistic and cultural performances to over 3000 attendees, artists, volunteers and staff.
Showcasing Saskatchewan, Canadian and international artists. Ness Creek hosts different genres ranging from blues to bluegrass, folk to funk and everything in between.

The festival site is located just outside of Big River, SK and for first timers, it could be an adventure in itself to look for it. Make sure to stock up on friends, tunes and road snacks, and travel during daylight to ensure you do not miss any road signage. The easiest is to use Google Maps and search for Ness Creek Site and follow the directions.
